K. C. Das Pvt. Ltd. [#48 Church Street, at the corner of St. Mark's Road] is the best confectioners in town! They are well known for their Bengali sweetmeats. Rossogolla, the national sweet of India, was invented by Krishna Chandra Das' father in the 1860's. www.kcdas.co.in
